Ashby de la Zouch is an ancient market town in the middle of the National Forest. This is our 15th year of the annual open gardens.
Come and visit our beautiful yet different gardens. See a vast array of stunning and unusual plants in glorious locations.
Take the opportunity to see what can be achieved in typical “Town” gardens like yours rather than the “Country Estates” that are typical of many open garden events.
Each year, the date moves, from June-July-August, then back to June. This lets you see the gardens looking totally different each year.
We have more new gardens this year, as well as changes in some of the existing ones, and we have Ashby Allotments joining us again.
Plants for sale, free gardening advice and scrumptious cakes !
Passports/Maps are available from any of the listed gardens. or 2 weeks beforehand from
Woodlander (Bath Street) Ashby Toolbox (Middle of Market Street)
£5 donation allows entry to ALL gardens for both days. Under 16s go free.
If you cannot get a passport in advance, or are unfamiliar with the locations, please print out a route map beforehand to allow you to find your first garden. Ashby Toolbox is not open on Sunday, but Woodlander will be, otherwise, you can get your passport from any one of the gardens on the day.
also, many thanks to our tireless supporters who have supported us over the years. Please shop locally and keep our town alive.
