Alton Ash, South Street

The front garden is divided into four rectangular yew lined beds with loose planting within. The back garden has a raised terrace with steps down to the lawn. The garden includes different areas including raised beds, a formal water feature, a bridge over a nature pond, a pergola with newly planted climbers and seating, and a fire pit with reclaimed railway sleeper benches. There are several fruit trees and densely planted flower beds. The garden is dominated by some large trees that create a lot of shade but they are also used to hang hammocks and a swing. Plants have generally been chosen to provide all year floral interest as well as habitat and food sources for wildlife.
