The front is a dry garden with succulents.  The rear is entered through an ivy tunnel into the fernery with over  70 varieties of ferns, including 9 types of tree ferns.  A jungle, desert and oriental themed area surround a cottage garden and in a separate area are a collection of bonsai.  A red themed formal walk ends with a green man water feature. Also, a shady bed devoted to acers and hostas
